The Flower Farm

Yewbarrow Flower Farm is set in a rural location 9 miles north of Penrith in the heart of the Eden Valley.

Yewbarrow Flower Farm is set in a rural location 9 miles north of Penrith in the heart of the Eden Valley. Set among several acres of land, the Flower Farm is host to numerous blooms from April through to October. Out of season, flowers are sourced from other sustainable British growers or sometimes international wholesalers, but the majority of flowers will be freshly picked and conditioned on the farm.

2020 is the first summer at the Flower Farm, so currently there is a lot of hard work ahead to get the fields up and running and flowers established.

There will be a perennial cutting garden including lots of amazing delphiniums, phlox, hydrangeas and so much more. We will also have beds crammed full of focal flowers such as David Austin Roses and every colour Dahlia you could ever imagine.

Further down the flower farm will be the woodland foliage area, foliage is so popular and can create as much scent and interest as the flowers themselves.

We will also be creating an extensive annual flower area. This is where everything is grown from seed each year including amazing delights such as cosmos, sweet peas and sunflowers.

The final part of the flower farm and my all time favourite will be the wild flower meadow.

These flowers look and smell truly amazing especially in bridal bouquets We are currently renovating the barn to be used as an amazing styling studio and space to hold workshops throughout the year (watch this pace for updates)
